Privacy

Your inventory may list valuable belongings. It stays on your device. We never receive it, so we can't see it, lose it or restore it.

What happens to your data

• Everything is calculated in your browser. Rooms, items, notes, weights and box details aren't sent to us or anyone else. Our automated tests log every network request the planner makes and check that none of them carries your data.
• Local saving: your current project is stored in this browser's localStorage so it survives a reload. Anyone with access to this browser profile can see it. Use Delete all data on shared or public computers.
• Exports (JSON, CSV, PDF labels and inventory) are created on your device and downloaded straight to it. Once exported, protecting those files is up to you. Imports are read locally, and invalid content is discarded.
• Error log: if a script error happens, a short technical message (time, page path, error text) is kept in localStorage, capped at 20 entries. It is never transmitted, and Delete all data clears it too.
• No accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookies are used on this site at present.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As with any website, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse, under its privacy policy. We don't receive personal visitor logs from it.

No professional or insurance advice

Estimates of box counts, weights and supplies are planning aids. They are not professional moving, safety or insurance advice, and they don't value your belongings.

Future changes

If we add advertising, analytics or affiliate links, we'll update this page before they go live and add any consent prompt the law requires where you live.
